Our first release trying to capture the distinct qualities of young and well aged barrels.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe young beer was brewed in October 2025 with floor malted Pilsner malt, wheat and whole-leaf hops fresh from the 2025 harvest. It brought a bright, fresh character of both the hops and grain. We were particularly interested in presenting just the right amount of a captivating sulphur note, which we find very enjoyable in some famed German lagers, and that we see in some of our young barrels.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe old beer was brewed in April 2024 from rye, floor malted Maris Otter and aged hops. We chose a very characterful barrel, to ensure its flavours shone once blended.
